According to modern science...
Dinosaurs were a diverse group of reptiles that lived between approximately 230 and 66 million years ago.
More than 1,000 species have been identified from fossils discovered on every continent.
Scientists use fossil evidence, geology, anatomy and radiometric dating to reconstruct how dinosaurs looked, lived and evolved.
Many scientists also believe that modern birds are the closest living descendants of certain theropod dinosaurs.

🔬 WHAT SCIENTISTS SAY
Researchers explain that...
• Fossilisation is extremely rare.
• Most animals never become fossils.
• Skeletons are often found incomplete because erosion, scavengers and geological activity scatter bones over millions of years.
• Missing bones are sometimes recreated using mirrored bones from the opposite side or by comparing closely related dinosaur species. Museums usually identify reconstructed parts.
• As new fossils are discovered, reconstructions are updated, which is why dinosaurs often look different today than they did decades ago.
Science is always refining its understanding as new evidence becomes available.
☪️ THE ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE
The Qur'an does not specifically mention dinosaurs.
Allah says:
"And He creates that which you do not know."
(Qur'an 16:8)
Islam teaches that Allah created countless creatures throughout history, many of which humans have never seen.
Whether dinosaurs existed exactly as scientists describe does not affect the core beliefs of Islam.
Muslims are encouraged to observe creation while remembering that Allah alone has complete knowledge of the past.
